ACL Interns Complete Transformative Internships: Gaining Meaningful Experience in Civil Engineering

At ACL, we pride ourselves on creating opportunities for young engineers to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This year, we were fortunate to have three exceptional civil engineering interns—Mr. Divine Udokang, Miss Nya Cecilia Ubokuton, and Mr. Sampson Ekeminiabasi Sampson—join our team. Over the course of their internships, they contributed to important projects, learned from experienced professionals, and expanded their skills in civil engineering.

Internships are a vital part of professional growth, offering students a chance to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings. At ACL, we aim to provide interns with real-world exposure to the challenges and intricacies of civil engineering, from design and project management to sustainability and construction practices.

Our interns worked across a variety of projects, gaining experience in structural analysis, environmental engineering, and infrastructure development. The collaborative environment at ACL allowed them to interact with engineers, architects, and project managers, building their understanding of the industry and honing their technical and soft skills.

One key aspect of their experience was learning how to balance technical problem-solving with effective communication and teamwork. Whether they were analyzing structural designs or coordinating timelines on complex construction projects, the interns were immersed in a setting where collaboration was crucial to success.

Moreover, ACL places a strong emphasis on sustainability in engineering. This gave the interns an opportunity to explore environmentally conscious construction practices and integrate innovative solutions into their work, reflecting the growing importance of sustainability in civil engineering today.

As they complete their internships, Mr. Divine Udokang, Miss Nya Cecilia Ubokuton, and Mr. Sampson Ekeminiabasi Sampson leave ACL with a deeper understanding of civil engineering and a greater confidence in their ability to tackle future challenges. They are now better prepared to take the next steps in their academic and professional journeys, equipped with both the knowledge and experience to make a significant impact in their field.

At ACL, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of engineers, providing a platform where students can transform their education into tangible skills. As we celebrate the accomplishments of our latest interns, we look forward to continuing our mission of empowering young professionals to excel in civil engineering.
